Treasured Memories

Memories of long ago
Now sweetly come to mind
Of childhood dreams and simple joys
Treasured by all mankind.
The fragrance of a Christmas Tree
All dressed in winter white,
Paper dolls and chocolate hearts
And candles gleaming bright.
Beneath that fragrant Christmas
Tree
Noble figurines there stood;
Mary, Joseph, the little Christ-child
Carved from special wood.
A Christkindl Market and happy
people
Enchanted all children - what delight,
Friendly greetings for a merry Christmas,
"Church bells echoing "Silent Night."
